Tony was so shy it took him nearly 2 years to make his first sale… He was constantly comparing himself to others and beating himself up… And he suffered from a horrible drug and alcohol problem...
And I was a total people pleaser who tried so hard to get everyone’s respect that I stopped being likeable and my business suffered for it... I struggled with procrastination so much that I made almost no money in my first 6 years.

We even thought about calling it quits a few times.
But then everything changed…
One day I looked at Tony and said…
“Tony, there are only two kinds of people in our industry — amateurs and professionals. Which of the two are we going to be?”
It was that day that we decided to go pro.
So that’s what we did. We reached out to mentors we respected and copied their success. Little by little we started putting together the pieces that would take us from amateur ‘hacks’ to confident professionals.
And, it turns out, it was pretty easy.
The biggest obstacle to our success wasn't finding more leads, or trying to convince skeptics, or having no contacts, or bad social media posts (though we had plenty of those)...
Our biggest obstacle was ourselves.
Seriously.
